 GENERAL CONCERT TOUR INFORMATION!


As part of its music education to the student musicians of the Chicago area, The Classical Symphony Orchestra and The Protégé Philharmonic are committed to taking international concert tours every other summer.  The dates of concert tours (late July through early August) always immediately follow our Summer Concert Season and generally run 10-14 days.

2005                         Beijing, Xian, Luoyang, Shenzhen City &                                    Hong Kong, China


The Orchestras have combined to perform highly successful joint concerts with such prestigious orchestras as the National Opera Orchestra of Beijing, Beijing Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Radio & TV Symphony Orchestra of Kiev and Orquesta Academica del Teatro Colon.

 

Concert tours are open to all members of The Classical Symphony Orchestra and The Protégé Philharmonic!  Tours are all inclusive and include air fare, hotels, 3 daily meals, sightseeing, concerts, land transportation, airport taxes and other miscellaneous fees.  Tour participants need only bring money for souvenirs and their own personal needs.

 

The average Tour Participation Fee for Orchestra Members is approximately $2,500, and participation is strictly voluntary.  Chaperones and tour personnel pay a slightly higher participation fee; family members and friends are also welcome to join the tour.
