“The Protégé experience is one-of-a-kind! High school level musicians rarely meet conductors and teachers as passionate and energetic as Mr. Glymph. My most distinct memory of Protégé was walking into rehearsal the first day of my Sophomore year and being blown away by how great the orchestra sounded. The musicians were so good, the sound of the page turns make me shiver!”
Jonathan Jou, Violin
“Growing an immense amount as a musician; not only as a horn player but learning how to function as a section and as an orchestra. Playing an absolutely incredible repertoire with wonderful fellow musicians (and now friends!) and playing under the baton of one of the most talented musicians I’ve ever met.
Truly an honor and a privilege.”
Nicholas Yeates, French Horn
“The music I played was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
It was awesome to play it with such a talented group."
Joe Philipson, Trumpet
